Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refund eligibility, cancellation terms, and rescheduling policy for Devnode Core Advisory consultations.

1. Scope

This policy applies to advisory services booked through Devnode Core Advisory Co., Ltd., including Manager Transition Planning, Leadership Assessment Sessions, Team Communication Workshops, and ongoing coaching sessions.

2. Deposit and Payment

  • Manager Transition Planning: A 30% deposit is required to confirm scheduling. The remaining balance is due per the payment schedule in your engagement agreement.
  • Leadership Assessment Sessions: Full payment is due at booking.
  • Team Communication Workshops: A 50% deposit is required to confirm the workshop date.
  • Ongoing coaching sessions: Payment is due before each session unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Cancellation by Client

Manager Transition Planning

  • More than 14 days before the first session: Full deposit refund.
  • 7–14 days before the first session: 50% of deposit refunded; remaining 50% retained as a scheduling fee.
  • Less than 7 days before the first session: Deposit is non-refundable.
  • After engagement has begun: Fees for completed sessions are non-refundable. Unused future sessions may be refunded at our discretion, minus a 15% administrative fee.

Leadership Assessment Sessions

  • More than 7 days before the session: Full refund.
  • 3–7 days before the session: 50% refund.
  • Less than 3 days before the session: No refund.

Team Communication Workshops

  • More than 14 days before the workshop: Full deposit refund.
  • 7–14 days before: 50% of deposit refunded.
  • Less than 7 days before: Deposit is non-refundable.
  • After materials have been customized for your team: A non-refundable preparation fee of NT$5,000 applies regardless of cancellation timing.

Ongoing Coaching Sessions

  • More than 48 hours before a scheduled session: Full refund or free rescheduling.
  • Less than 48 hours before: Session fee is non-refundable but may be rescheduled once within 30 days.

4. Rescheduling

You may reschedule sessions without penalty if you notify us at least 48 hours in advance. One free reschedule is permitted per session. Additional reschedules may incur a NT$1,000 administrative fee.

5. No-Shows

If you do not attend a scheduled session and have not provided 48 hours’ notice, the session is considered delivered and no refund will be issued.

6. Cancellation by Devnode Core Advisory

If we must cancel a session due to advisor illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a full refund or reschedule at your preference. We are not liable for any indirect costs you may incur due to our cancellation.

7. Work Already Started

For engagements where written deliverables (90-day plans, assessment summaries, workshop materials) have been partially or fully completed, fees corresponding to completed work are non-refundable regardless of cancellation timing.

8. Non-Refundable Items

The following are never refundable:

  • Travel fees already incurred for on-site visits
  • Third-party costs prepaid on your behalf (venue booking, printed materials)
  • Sessions that have been conducted, whether in person or via video

9. Refund Process

Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days via the original payment method (bank transfer). You will receive email confirmation when the refund is initiated.

10. Disputes

If you believe a refund is warranted outside the terms above, contact us at info@devnodecore.click with your engagement details and reason for the request. We review each case individually and aim to respond within 5 business days.

11. Exceptions

In cases of documented medical emergency or natural disaster preventing attendance, we may offer rescheduling or partial refunds beyond the standard policy. Contact us as soon as possible to discuss your situation.
